Action 338 - Get Running, Dammit!

There are lots of reasons why I couldn't finish my three mile run this afternoon. None of them were bigger than the simple fact that I could.

Action 338 - Get Running, Dammit!

It's afternoon, and I'm a morning runner. It's hot, and I am used to cooler temperatures. I didn't sleep at all last night, and am exhausted. I have so much work to do, and I need to be back here at my desk.

Blah blah blah. All valid reasons to not spend hours on a long run, sure. But absolutely NOT valid reasons to skip out on the run completely. Let's revisit those excuses again, shall we?
It's afternoon, and I'm a morning runner.

I'm now working a full time day job and a part time evening job. I need to run whenever I can. I don't have the luxury of only running in the mornings.
It's hot, and I am used to cooler temperatures.

So what? Summer is coming, and that means longer, warmer days. Running in the heat is going to be inevitable.
I didn't sleep at all last night, and am exhausted. I have so much work to do, and I need to be back here at my desk.

Yes, I'm tired. But physical exercise will help me feel more relaxed this evening and will certainly help me sleep better.

See? Excuses. I went out for a quick run and now feel so much better that I did it. And I think I look better, too. Sweat is sexy!

(Okay, it really was hot out there. And I look like I'm about to have a stroke. I don't think I feel as hot and sweaty as I look, though.)
