Action 313 - Burn The Midnight Oil. This is now my third week working until midnight each night, and it's starting to get to me. I'm wired and amped when I go to bed, and it's nearly 1am before I get to sleep. And then the alarm buzzes at 5:50am.
I'm not whining here. I realize I am dealing with First World Problems. (Oh, gee, I have two jobs and am getting paid to work... poor me!) I just need to find a way to work more efficiently earlier in the evening so I can be logged off before 10pm.
I'll find a way. Until then, I'll be like this guy with dead eyes and a vacant stare.

I have been doing the same. Between my job, doing taxes in my "off" time, and graduate class, I am burning it at both ends. I keep saying I will get a more regular schedule once I 'catch up' but that never happens.
ReplyDeleteWhen you are getting close to logging off for the night you might try taking a melatonin. It should help you fall asleep sooner once you do log off, and doesn't have the negative side effects of sleeping pills.
