You can't out train a bad diet.
So true. There just aren't enough hours in the day to exercise enough to burn off all the calories consumed when eating poorly. The solution, of course, is to eliminate the calories from your plate instead of trying to remove them from your body. But with three meals and at least as many snacks each day, it's tough to eat only the good stuff. But there is a solution.
Action 140 - Shop Wisely. For me, that means not buying high calorie, fatty food items. It means buying prepackaged, frozen meals for lunch (Lean Cuisine, Healthy Choice, etc), selecting low-calorie options for dinner, and healthy snacks like nuts, fruits and veggies. If I only bring good stuff into the house, I'm far less likely to seek out bad stuff for meals.
Shop wisely. That means choosing the foods that will help me on my fitness journey. It's as easy as it is smart.
