Action 189 - Let Yesterday Fuel Tomorrow.

This is a photo of my gym bag. The tech shirt you see in the bag is from last Sunday's race, the San Diego Half Marathon. It's also still soaked in sweat from this morning's run.

I'm not the guy who thinks shirts from races are to be put in a drawer and saved as souvenirs. I'm also not the guy who thinks they should be worn like regular clothing, out and about. I'm the guy who thinks they should be worn like the tech shirts they are, immersed in sweat from running, biking and working out.

Action 189 - Let Yesterday Fuel Tomorrow. When I wear a shirt from a previous event, it reminds me that I took on a challenge and met it head-on. It helps me remember that I have run longer, faster and harder in the past, and whatever training run I am doing now is no problem at all.

I wrap myself in my earlier victories to help power me to future ones. It may sound silly to some people, but I can't be bothered with that. In the early morning hours on the dark streets, those people aren't with me as I train. It's just me and my "heck, yeah, I ran this crazy event and I'll do another one!" tech shirts.

Fuel comes in many forms. Sometimes, it's dry wick.
