Action 170 - Think Moderation.

After successfully running a half marathon, I enjoy sitting with friends and celebrating the accomplishment. I've earned the chance to kick back, enjoy a drink, and bask in the glory of a job well done. But there's a fine line between rewarding great behavior and over-indulging in bad behavior, considering the half marathons are not an end point but are training on my way to running the full Pasadena Marathon.

Action 170 - Think Moderation. There is absolutely nothing wrong with enjoying a drink and a big meal after running a half marathon. But that should be as far as it goes. I am still in training mode, and an afternoon of alcohol and overeating can derail my long-term goals.

Right now, I need to keep my eyes on the prize. Good nights' sleep and early morning workouts are going to get me where I need to be on May 20th, and I need to remember that. I am committed to being the best runner I can be in Pasadena, and that means between now and then, I need to maintain moderation in all things.
