Ever make a decision, live with it a while, then begin to regret your choice? But changing means another risk, because what if your new choice turns out to be no better than your original one? It happens. And that fear of repeating a mistake means that I will often settle for something as it is rather than try to improve it.
Which brings me to Action 030 - Adjust. A week ago, I created this blog and chose what I thought was the right format. But after a few days, I realized that I really didn't like the look of it at all. The dark background made it difficult to identify external links, and the whole site looked dark and foreboding.
At the risk of making another mistake, I decided tonight to change the entire look of the blog. I want it to be neat and crisp, easily read and cleanly formatted. So, rather than live with the first choice and grumble for the next three months, I am giving myself the freedom to adjust the settings until they feel just right.
Adjust. It's what we all need to do when what we have set in motion just feels wrong. There's no shame in deciding that good enough can be even better.
