It's easy to drift away from good friends. Time and distance conspire to make people feel far away. In truth, the only thing required to bring them back together is a shared desire and the willingness of one person to reach out.
Action 149 - Reconnect. Today I was fortunate enough to receive a text from just such a friend, who was going to be in the San Diego area and wanted to connect. A shuffle or two of our schedules and we were able to find time to get together.
I'm so glad I did. It's been too long since we were able to sit and talk, to catch up on the goings on of each other's lives.
