As a child, "Livin' the dream" was a simple wish. I imagined what it would be like to feel like I belonged somewhere. As a young adult, it morphed into some abstract idea of finding happiness. But now, I finally know what it really means.
I am home where I belong with Ric. I am loved so powerfully, so completely, and so openly. Each and every day, I hear "I love you," "I am proud of you," and "I missed you." And that is me, living the dream.
