A Month of Gratitude - Day 01 (Nature)

I read about this idea and I absolutely love it. As the days get shorter and darker, it's important for me to remember all of the wonderful things in my life. I am grateful for all of them, for they make this life worth living.

First up, the simple beauty of a sunset here in San Diego.

I was driving home from work yesterday and I stopped on the side to get this shot. The iPhone camera doesn't really do it justice. The colors were so rich, so intense. Even after I took the picture, I just stood there for a while enjoying the view.

Tonight, I'm grateful that I live in a world that offers such unbelievable beauty, and all I need to do to enjoy it is take the time.
