Some of my earliest memories of Ric sharing with me were of him growing up thinking that he wasn't enough. He wasn't smart enough, wasn't good enough, wasn't doing enough. Even at a young age, he was taught that he always had to do and be more. To this day, I'm still angry about that. Because if Ric is anything, he is enough. He is kind and giving and smart and so, so capable. He can do anything. And I try every single day to make sure he knows that.
