It's Time For A Change - Leaving SparkPeople

I've been an active Spark People user for nearly three years, and it's been an amazing experience. I have connected with a powerful and supportive community, made real changes in my life, and become a happier, healthier person. But, for reasons personal and private, I have decided that my time here has come to an end.

I will always have a special place in my heart for my time here. The tools and lessons learned here have truly changed my life, and I am grateful to SparkGuy for helping me become the person I always knew I could be.

I don't know exactly where I am going from here. There are many different health and fitness sites, and I'm not sure which one is the best match for me at this point in my journey. But the one thing that will remain the same is that I will continue to blog here.

I've changed a lot in three years. I have gone from this overweight, unhappy guy to a man open to all the adventures life has in store for me.

And there's still a world of fun just waiting for me!

So, thanks to all my Spark Friends for your amazing support. Hopefully, I'll see you around on my blog, on Facebook, or wherever I land next!

  1. I'm glad you'll still be blogging here! I'm looking forward to hearing about where you end up.

  2. I have taken a break, but I am not leaving. I attribute all my success and good changes to SP.

  3. I really am grateful for my time at the site, and being a member changed my life. But I feel now like I have evolved but the site really hasn't. And for me now, where I am in my journey, it's time to explore other choices.

  4. I've thought about this a while as well. Haven't made any decisions yet, though. What sites are you contemplating?

Good luck, wherever you end up!

  5. So far, I'm really liking MyFitnessPal and Runtastic. The tracking is super easy.

  6. Sometimes you need a change to help refresh your spirit and get you motivated again.
