Action 295 - Sit Down For An Interview.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I am the luckiest person I know. I am the step to the curb and the light turns green guy. Things in my life just always seem to work out. So it takes a pretty big moment for me to think, "wow, I am SO lucky that this is happening!" Well, today was the day for just such a moment.

There will be many more details to come soon, and I can only say so much right now. But I am free to share that I am going to be part of a documentary featuring myself and several other runners who have changed their lives through health and fitness and, most importantly, are preparing for a shared physical experience in the near future. It is an amazing project and I am still a bit stunned and shocked that I get to be a part of it. Officially, it started today.

Action 295 - Sit Down For An Interview. And I did. After running the Hollywood Half Marathon, I made a quick stop at my friend's house to shower and change, then headed a few miles away and met with the filmmakers. We sat down for what I assumed would be a brief interview... and then we chatted away like old friends for the better part of two hours.

It was surreal, sitting there like a celebrity being asked about my fitness journey. The experience itself stirred up so many emotions, good and bad, but mostly, it felt like a voice fighting its way through all my insecurities and fears and shouting at me through a megaphone, "YOU HAVE CHANGED YOUR LIFE AND ARE DOING INCREDIBLE THINGS FOR YOURSELF!"

I am so excited to be part of this project, and I cannot wait to be able to share more information about it with everyone. Stay tuned over the last few weeks, and I promise to keep everyone posted with more details as they become available!
