[In the Hamdan decision,] Justice Thomas refers to Justice Stevens' "unfamiliarity with the realities of warfare"; but Stevens served in the U.S. Navy from 1942 to 1945, during World War II. Thomas's official bio, by contrast, contains no experience of military service.A guy who has never served in the military says that a World War II Navy Veteran is "unfamiliar with realities of warfare"? (I should mention that Stevens was also a code-breaker and awarded the Bronze Star for Meritorious Service.) It's one thing to disagree with someone else about military issues, whether you served or not. But to attack a Veteran like this? The absurdity here is off the charts.
Congratulations, Clarence Thomas. Even in such a crowded field of idiots, you are the "Right Wing Nut Job Hypocrite" of the week.
